Usain Bolt has become a father for the first time as his partner Kasi Bennett gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on Sunday.
The Prime Minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness made the announcement on Twitter on Monday.
The 11 time world champion, who also won the 100m and 200m gold in three consecutive Olympics hosted a gender reveal party in March which was attended by celebrity guests. After the party, the world record holder announced on social media: “I just did the reveal and I’m a girl dad.”
The track and field legend retired from athletics in 2017 but is still the fastest man on the planet with his world records in the 100m and 200m sprints with a time of 9.58 seconds and 19.19 seconds respectively, still unbeaten.
The eight-time Olympic Gold medalist has not yet revealed the name of his daughter
