123 new coronavirus cases in Kenya, Mathare becoming a hotspot

CS Kagwe said that the virus is greatly affecting the urban poor population in Nairobi

The number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in Kenya grew by 123 to reach 1,471. This is the biggest rise in confirmed cases in 24 hours since the first case was confirmed in March.

Health Cabinet Secretary, Mutahi Kagwe announced that the virus is greatly affecting the urban poor population in Nairobi with 33 new cases confirmed in Mathare and 14 confirmed in Kibera.
